Namaste USA provides a supporting B2B platform for Brand USA’s destination (and attraction) partners to establish and sustain relationships with industry partners, as a follow-up to the well-established annual Brand USA India Mission.
Objectives:
- Enhance knowledge of destination USA during the pre-summer holidays inspiration period – targeting senior sales and marketing staff of tour operators.
- Address the limitations of other B2B trade shows, by offering focused meetings with pre-qualified travel trade invitees.
Targeted Cities
- Delhi NCR
- Greater Mumbai
Targeted Segment
- Travel Agency/ Tour Operator Sales Staff (Primary) and some mid-sized Product Developers (Secondary)
Proposed Mechanics
- Use ballrooms of well-located hotels for these events.
- The US sellers from USA would be provided a dedicated space with an LED TV installed behind their desks for presentations and showing videos.
- The Indian buyers (around 100-120) would be bunched together in numbered groups, as they come in to register.
- Each US participant will be allowed to make a 7-8 minute presentation to members of each group (approx. 8-10 people) at one time.
- All groups will move round the room, taking notes and reviewing product presentations from each US supplier present.
- Thereafter there will be time provided for free movement of all invitees to have desktop meetings with US delegates on a one- on- one basis.
- Additionally, an evening event with senior managers of travel companies will be organized where the US delegates will again network with industry leaders at both cities.
