Brand USA Strengthens Industry Connections in New Zealand and Australia
In 2024, more than 1.2 million visitors traveled to the United States from Australian and New Zealand. To expand that audience and foster strong industry relationships in the market, Brand USA recently hosted a series of highly successful trade events across both countries.
The impact of Brand USA’s the New Zealand Expos in Auckland and Wellington drew impressive participation, with 95 U.S. exhibitors representing 44 companies engaging with key industry stakeholders. The Auckland Expo welcomed 256 agents, while 76 agents took part in Wellington. These events provided a valuable platform for exhibitors to connect with key travel agents, showcase U.S. destinations, and strengthen relationships within the New Zealand market.
In Australia, the B2B events facilitated high-impact networking and business development, connecting 82 exhibitors representing 59 companies and 49 buyers from 36 companies. Over the course of the event, 1,050 one-on-one appointments took place in which buyers and suppliers were able to explore new product and business opportunities as Australia has the fourth largest spend per leisure traveler, seeing $5,070 per visitor in 2023.
