Brand USA’s Go USA TV Adds More Content

Brand USA continues to expand its programming for GoUSA TV, the destination marketing organization’s first-of-a-kind connected TV network which features content to inspire, invite and welcome travelers to visit the USA.

GoUSA TV features best-in-class created, curated and licensed video content about travel experiences in the USA in short, medium, and long form.  Offering real, authentic and on-demand video content, the platform is accessible on Roku, Amazon Fire, and Apple TV and coming soon to Google Chromecast and apps for iPhone and Android.

GoUSA TV provides Brand USA with a global platform to share America's amazing travel experiences in a way that is relevant, engaging, and real," said Tom Garzilli, Brand USA's chief marketing officer. "The quick success of GoUSA TV proves there is an incredible appetite for high-quality video content for viewers to access on demand.” He added that Brand USA will “continue to enrich GoUSA TV's offerings and create content and storytelling that connects travelers to all the travel experiences the USA has to offer."

Brand USA adds new shows weekly. For instance, Brand USA’s “Ask A Local” series now features new episodes in Puerto Rico, Colorado, Wisconsin, Missouri, Minnesota, Michigan, and Illinois.  Viewers also can explore Seattle with six very palate-pleasing episodes of “Turning Tables."

The program categories include the Great Outdoors, Road Trips, Food & Drink, and Culture & Events. The streaming channel's new programming will feature original programs that explore passion points including unique American road trips and music.

Brand USA’s expansion of GoUSA TV programming comes at a time when 80 percent of television sales are internet-enabled, interactive televisions that support the increasing number of consumers who consider themselves “cord-cutters.” In addition, over half of video content is viewed on mobile devices and about 92 percent of mobile video viewers share videos with others.
