Brand USA’s Pavilion at a Major Brazil Tourism Event Deemed a Major Success

Brand USA hosted its first-ever pavilion at the Festuris Gramado International Tourism Fair in Brazil, the second largest travel and tourism event in Latin America.

The 30th edition of the fair, held November 9-10 in Gramado, Rio Grande do Sul, the most southern state in Brazil, attracted over 15,000 travel professionals and 450 media representatives and nearly 1,000 exhibitors, generating nearly $78 million in business deals during the event.

Brand USA’s inaugural pavilion at the fair was well received by visitors and exhibitors alike.  The U.S. exhibitors participating included: Las Vegas, Kissimmee, Travel South, Miami, Visit California, Texas TaxFree Shopping, Visit Florida, Visit St. Petersburg/Clearwater, Hertz, Fort Lauderdale, Sea World, Universal Studios and Encore.

Being part of the Brand USA pavilion “definitely made a difference not only in affordability and ease of exhibiting but also provided an opportunity for new destinations to experience Festuris Gramado,” said Morgan Taylor, director of marketing and communications at TaxFree Shopping. “The interest in the U.S. travel product from Brazilian buyers from the southern region of Brazil is incredible.”

The Brand USA pavilion provided its partners with 3,800 square feet exhibit space in a very prominent location with visibility from all hall entrances.

The event also had an exclusive area where luxury exhibitors held over 40 meetings. Brand USA hosted a networking event for partners to reach these luxury buyers at the Harley Davidson Museum.

Festuris Gramado 2019 is scheduled for November 9-10, 2019.
