Sweden Travel Event Educates Agents on USA Travel
Over 102 travel agents and exhibitors attended Discover America Sweden, the largest trade event in West Sweden, to learn about booking travel to the United States.
The trade event, held at the Elite Park Avenue Hotel in Gothenburg, Sweden, on Oct. 8, 2018, is one of three sponsored by Discover America in Sweden. The other two are held in Stockholm and Malmö.
Discover America Sweden Chair Johnny Gardsäter offered the welcoming remarks followed by a speech from Göran Von Arbin, the Discover America director of events.
Fifteen groups – comprised of three to seven agents– were provided with training on ways to fly to the United States, road trips, accommodations and what to see and do in the United States. They received both stage presentations and table top workshops.
