USA Awarded the “Most Popular Destinations of the Year” at First-Ever Brand USA Pavilion at ITB China
The third edition of ITB China took place in Shanghai on May 15-17 with the first-ever Brand USA Pavilion. With 850 Chinese hosted buyers and 17,000 trade visitors attending the show, ITB China has enjoyed significant growth over the past three years and has become China’s largest B2B travel trade show.
The Brand USA Pavilion was prominently placed on the main aisle on 383sqm (4,122sqft) of floor space. With Brand USA support, the 29 participating U.S. destinations and companies met with top Chinese buyers and positively reported high interest, steady traffic, and high-quality appointments.
At a ceremony on May 16th, Brand USA was awarded the “Most Popular Destinations of the Year” award as part of the “IT’S MY WORLD Travel Awards 2019” by ITB China and Qyer, the worldwide platform for travel, lifestyle, and social networking. Louis Lu and James Huang accepted the award on behalf of Brand USA.
The next edition of ITB China will take place May 13-15, 2020.
