UnCruise Adventures Named Again in Travel + Leisure's 2020 World's Best Awards

SEATTLE, WA, July 20th, 2020 – The American owned, U.S. flagged small boat adventure company, UnCruise Adventures has been named number five in the top ten “World's Best Awards” by Travel + Leisure. Moving rapidly up the list with high scores in accommodation, cuisine, service, destinations, itineraries, and value. Each UnCruise Adventure is designed to share a comfortable onboard experience with the pursuit of discovery woven throughout every departure.

“It's an honor to receive recognition with this esteemed award, and we thank our guests and Travel + Leisure readers for putting us in the top ten once again,” shares UnCruise Adventures Owner and CEO, Dan Blanchard. “It's fantastic to see how well our travelers connect to our UnCruise family along with the experiential learning and comfort we strive to provide.”

UnCruise Adventures' award-winning brand is honored for the remote exploration, extraordinary onboard service and memorable experiences offered on its itineraries. Placing again in this year's World's Best top ten underscores a consistent standard of excellence, in delivering connection, and adventure across the brand.

This award follows a recent announcement that UnCruise Adventures will be resuming operations in Alaska on August 1st, marking a milestone in small boat adventure and the travel industry. UnCruise vessels accommodate 22-86 guests and provide an intentional focus on personal space, highly sanitized public spaces, and a self-imposed 66% occupancy cap for upcoming Alaska sailings. The brand continues to lead the industry in standards and nature-based adventures.

“It is extremely gratifying, especially in these current times to know that the small boat connection we provide continues to resonate with travelers now, almost 25 years after we first set sail,” shares Blanchard. “As we look toward a post-coronavirus future, we are focused on finding a balance of what worked before and what needs to happen in the next normal. And we look forward to welcoming our guests back to exploring the wilds of Alaska next month.”

As part of the restart of small boat travel in Alaska, UnCruise Adventures CEO, Dan Blanchard will be on site for the initial sailings to greet new and returning guests and will host a special departure August 15th. The full results of Travel + Leisure's World's Best are available at www.travelandleisure.com/worlds-best. UnCruise Adventures will also be included in Travel + Leisure's World's Best 25th annual August awards issue.
