Co-op marketing programs make up the majority of our marketing efforts by delivering an array of options to increase awareness, visitation and spend. These opportunities allow partners of all sizes to participate in the way we promote travel experiences in the United States.

Brand USA Activation programs are consumer facing, cooperative marketing opportunities that include a booking component. Participants featured in these programs can expect to receive specific booking information and metrics upon completion of the marketing campaign.

Brand USA Consumer Media programs are cooperative marketing opportunities run in partnership with leading international consumer media companies. They are B2C and generate awareness and interest in travel to the US.

Brand USA Content & Distribution programs are cooperative marketing opportunities that allow Brand USA and its partners to create and disseminate video and written content across various media channels.

Brand USA Trade-Focused programs are cooperative marketing opportunities that are not just B2C, but also B2B. They reach the trade via media, events or PR channels, and may include a tour operator component.


Connecting the World with the U.S. Travel Industry

The Brand USA Global Marketplace is a custom-built, always-on, virtual platform that provides comprehensive access to U.S. destinations,  attractions, and points of interest for the international travel industry.

Brand USA will host targeted events throughout the year on the platform to encourage the international travel community to engage with U.S. destinations. These events may include pre-scheduled meetings, enrichment opportunities, and other educational events. 

Brand USA Global Marketplace

Brand USA’s Global Inspiration Program is a top-of-funnel program that generates global awareness of U.S. destinations using a multifaceted approach:

  • The print guide, which is filled with stunning photography and evocative prose
  • The digital eGuides, which extend the reach of the partner's content; and,
  • The mobile takeover ads, which drive targeted audiences to dynamic partner content and generate content engagement metrics.

Partners can coordinate with one another to create greater impact by participating in a regional, state, or city co-op. All program participants are included in all three components.


The USA Discovery Program is Brand USA’s official online agent training tool about the diverse destinations and experiences available in the USA to inspire and help the travel industry get accredited as USA Specialists. Agents learn geographical information on regions, as well as individual states and territories, to become a Regional Expert. Agents can then earn special badges as well as bespoke partner badges. Unique features of the program include MegaFam integration, live events & webinars, and peer to peer learning.
