Upon completing university in Milan, I moved to London where I started my professional path in tourism. I now have 15+ years of comprehensive experience spanning across the broad range of sourcing, negotiation, customer relationship, sales and marketing management functions within the travel industry, both in FIT and Groups. I develop business from international markets with particular emphasis on the European and American source markets. 

I was very fortunate to work with leading brands within the industry: as an Inbound Coordinator for GTA’s Groups Department in London; I then moved to Kuoni flagship office in Rome to set up a Customer Service Team and finally transferred to New York 5 years ago to establish a presence for Kuoni Group Travel Experts. Having gained operational, commercial and product knowledge in my previous roles, I enthusiastically joined AlliedTPro in June 2016 as part of their sales team.

Richard Groesz is a Product Manager for American Ring Travel, a Receptive Tour Operator with headquarters in Valencia, CA. He holds a degree in Marketing from Cal State Los Angeles. He currently contracts hotels in the western USA for the self-drive and FIT program.  Over the years, he has worked for several Inbound Tour Operators, in various roles that have included sales, marketing, operations and product development.  He also spent three years as a regional Sales Manager for Best Western International calling on leisure travel accounts in Southern California. He is centrally based in the Salt Lake City, Utah area, where he enjoys winter and summer recreational activities including snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, camping and golf.

Jenny Tecklenburg is the Vice President of International Sales at ATI South located in Orlando, Florida. Jenny graduated from Barry University, Miami Shores (Florida) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and a Master of Science degree in Electronic Commerce. After graduation, she joined DHL’s regional office in Ft. Lauderdale as an eCommerce & Physical Channel’s Specialist with focus on their international shipping destinations. After relocating to Los Angeles in 2002, she worked for The Holman Group as a Marketing Specialist and was promoted within a year to Sales Executive with focus on sales efforts for the Southern California region. In 2004, Jenny joined ATI as an Account Manager handling the client relationships and sales efforts for the Scandinavian market. Throughout the years, Jenny was given additional responsibilities and promoted within the International Sales Department to Regional Sales Manager taking on more territories such as United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands and as Market Director was also given more managerial responsibilities. Jenny was awarded ATI’s prestigious award – Team Member of the Year of 2007. Furthermore, in 2012 Jenny relocated back to Florida and joined ATI South where she in 2013 took on the role as Regional Vice President responsible for operations and product development for the southern region as well as still keeping her managerial role within the international sales department before being promoted to Vice President of International Sales.

Mr. Schluter began his career in tourism while in college in Iowa working summer seasons as a tour guide in Yellowstone National Park.  After college this summer job lead to a full-time position with the Tour Department for the park concessionaire from 1974-1980.  In the fall of 1980, Mr. Schluter moved to Cheyenne where he developed a new position for the Wyoming Travel Commission (State of Wyoming tourism promotion office) to work with travel professionals (domestic and international) to develop itineraries and promote travel to the Cowboy State. During his time with the WTC he received honors from the National Tour Association for his ideas of promoting travel as a regional concept going outside the state boundaries and working with neighboring states and City CVB’s in developing and promoting itineraries. In 1987, working with regional transportation company Powder River Transportation (out of Gillette and Denver), Mr. Schluter began Rocky Mountain Holiday Tours—a company set up to assist tour operators in Europe to book their guest into the American West.  In 1997 he bought out the interest of Powder River and has proceeded as the individual owner of what has become the largest “regional” receptive operator for the American West.  

Mr. Schluter has been a member of the Colorado Tourism Board’s International Travel Promotions Committee and was instrumental in having RMHTours named as the “Official Receptive Operator” for the marketing promotion group Rocky Mountain International (European Marketing program for the tourism office of Idaho, Montana, South Dakota and Wyoming).  In 2011, Rocky Mountain Holiday Tours was given the “International Travel” Award at the North Dakota Tourism Conference in recognition of working with International Tour Operators to see that North Dakota was included in drive routes into the region.  RMHTours was the first recipient of this award not from the State of North Dakota (individual, community or event).  Mr. Schluter is the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the International Inbound Travel Association (IITA)—the national organization for inbound tour companies working with both advocacy and Education for this segment of the travel industry.  And in June 2016 was appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce to the U.S.-Travel and Tourism Advisory Board and sits on the Visa Evaluation Committee.  He also serves as an At-Large Board Member for the U.S. Travel Association.
