Tiwana Perry is senior manager, corporate communications for Brand USA, the public-private partnership responsible for launching the United States’ first-ever nationally coordinated tourism marketing effort. In this role, she focuses on Brand USA’s domestic partnership communication efforts.

Prior to joining Brand USA in November 2013, Tiwana held various marketing and operations positions at Fortune 500 organizations such as Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, and McKinsey & Company in Charlotte, North Carolina. Tiwana enjoys cooking, trying new international cuisines and entertaining at home. She loves to travel, especially to the beach for relaxation and has visited much of the Caribbean, Mexico and South America. Tiwana is working towards her Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a concentration in Media Studies at Old Dominion University.  She is also studying for the CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) certification and the PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.

Brand USA, the destination marketing organization for the United States, was established by the Travel Promotion Act as the nation's first public-private partnership to promote the United States as a premier travel destination and to communicate U.S. travel policies and procedures to worldwide travelers. The organization’s mission is to increase international visitation to the USA in order to fuel the U.S. economy and enhance the image of the United States worldwide. Formed as the Corporation for Travel Promotion in 2010, the public-private entity began operations in May 2011 and does business as Brand USA. According to studies by Oxford Economics, over the past four years Brand USA's marketing initiatives have helped welcome 4.3 million incremental visitors to the USA, benefiting the U.S. economy with nearly $30 billion in total economic impact, and has supported, on average, 50,900 incremental jobs a year.
