Delta Air Lines Makes Travel Between Dublin and Boston Easier this Summer

Visitors traveling from Ireland to visit the United States and New Englanders traveling to the lush green of the Emerald Isle will find getting to their respective destinations a lot easier this summer – thanks to Delta Air Lines.
For the second summer in a row, Delta resumed its daily nonstop service May 24 between Boston’s Logan International Airport and Dublin International Airport.
“Boston has long-established ties with Ireland, and we are proud to make Dublin more accessible through this flight,” Charlie Schewe, Delta’s director of sales for New England, said in a Boston Irish Tourism Association article. “Delta has been flying to Ireland for more than 20 years, and Ireland is now Delta’s fifth-largest European market.”
Delta – a Brand USA partner - launched the Boston to Dublin flights last summer and due to the success of those flights, the airline decided to bring back the route this summer.
The flights leave from Terminal A at Logan Airport on Boeing 757-200s at 9:29 p.m. and arrive in Dublin at 8:45 a.m. the following morning. Flights depart Dublin at 10:25 a.m. and arrive in Boston at 12:50 p.m.
Schewe said the Delta One seats can lie flat in business, while the main cabin’s first eight rows have more leg room and overhead luggage storage. There are seat-back televisions with movies and shows and WIFI which allows free texting in the air.
U.S. pre-clearance facilities are available at the Dublin airport for travelers to complete the necessary custom checks. When they arrive in Boston, passengers then can leave the airport with minimum delay.
