Our Process

Brand USA promotes and provides full and open competition in awarding contracts to support our operations and marketing efforts. Each year, we enter into a wide variety of contracts for services and goods. If you have the passion and talent to help us promote the United States as an exciting and diverse travel destination, we invite you to participate in this process.

Brand USA is committed to including diverse firms as an important part of its sourcing and procurement activities. In furtherance and support of this goal, we encourage minority, women, and locally owned firms to pursue business opportunities with us.

Brand USA uses three primary methods to seek, source, and select supplier partners: Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Requests for Quotes (RFQs). Current RFPs and RFIs are listed below.

Brand USA is seeking proposals from qualified travel marketing and public relations firms (Representation Firm) to represent Brand USA’s interests in China. The selected Representation Firm will be considered Brand USA’s in-market expert, with the purpose of helping to build and maintain top-of-mind awareness of the USA as a premier travel destination in order to increase international visitation, spend, and market share for the United States. As an extension of the Brand USA team in market, the Representation Firm will ensure all in-market activity represents Brand USA in ways that support the organization’s strategies and mission, while protecting and preserving our integrity and brand.

Proposals are due to Brand USA by July 8. Notice of Intent to Award Posting by September 20.

Southeast Asia – Travel Marketing & Public Relations Services

Brand USA is seeking proposals from qualified social media and content creator agencies to handle our social media marketing and content creator marketing across key international markets (Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, France, Germany, India, Mexico, South Korea, Japan, and the U.K). Brand USA is open to working with agencies that have expertise in either social media or content creator marketing or both. This agency(ies) should have a global footprint, ideally with a presence and expertise in some or all our key markets. This agency (or agencies) will work in conjunction with Brand USA, as well as our existing roster of agencies (e.g., brand and creative, media planning and buying, public relations, in-market trade representation, etc.), to ensure brand-led marketing, co-op marketing, and ad hoc campaign efforts are effective across our social ecosystem and drive an increase in international visitation and spend to the USA.
