San Francisco Travel Offers Iconic Backgrounds for Zoom Teleconferences
As sheltering in place to stop the spread of the cornonavirus has become a way of life, video calling (or teleconferencing) has exploded in popularity.
Holding a virtual chat is a great way to connect with friends and family but being seen in a kitchen, bedroom or home office can be pretty dull.
To make life a little more colorful, San Francisco Travel Association is offering seven free backgrounds that can be uploaded to Zoom.
The backgrounds include San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge, nighttime waterfront, cable cars and Victorian houses. Three of the backgrounds are videos, including sunning sea lions with barking in the background.
“Naturally, we wish everyone could visit San Francisco right now. But until things change, we want to give people a way to look like they're having a virtually great time in our city,” said San Francisco Travel President and CEO Joe D'Alessandro.
