New Global Initiatives & Highlights from Partner Programs

Brand USA Launches New Marketing Initiatives in Canada

Zoom Canada Programs LogoBrand USA is unveiling two unique programs for partners to make an impact in Canada, the market generating the largest number of travelers to the United States.

The market-specific programs include one with Flight Network, the largest travel agency owned and operated in Canada, which involves high-impact, activation-driven marketing packages.

Through ad placements on the homepage of FlightNetwork.com, site visitors will be directed to custom landing pages and the best flight and hotel deals available to participating destinations. Visit the program site here.

Brand USA also is debuting an opportunity with Rogers Media, the leading communications and media company reaching 95 percent of Canadians. Through the Rogers Media program, partners will be featured in campaigns across television and display networks in one of three large Canadian cities and the international travel hubs of Montreal, Toronto, or Vancouver. Visit the program site here.

We encourage destination partners interested in expanding their reach in Canada to contact their Brand USA partner engagement representative for more information on these innovative programs.

Euronews NBC: “Notes from the USA”

NOTES_FROM_THE_USABrand USA and Euronews NBC are presenting "Notes from the USA" - a 10-episode video series portraying the spirit of different U.S. cities through the lens of music.

Foy Vance, a Northern Irish musician and songwriter, and Laetitia Shériff, a French musician and composer from Paris, will host the series, embarking on a journey to discover the destinations and find the essence of the people by experiencing the culture, meeting with local insiders, and delving into the different musical styles in the cities. Featured destinations will be Cleveland, Detroit, Seattle, Santa Fe, Muscle Shoals (Alabama), Boston, Minneapolis, Bronx, Asheville, and Philadelphia.

These journeys will result in the creation of six-minute episodes in various languages. Once “Notes from the USA” airs on Euronews TV, the episodes will be available on a dedicated Euronews digital hub and social media in English, French, German, and Spanish.  They also will be on Brand USA channels.

Euronews is one of the most-watched news channels in Europe, covering stories in 12 different languages and reaching the largest number of viewers in continental Europe. “Notes from the USA” begins filming in October and will appear on TV in early 2019.

Roadfood™

Zoom Roadfood ImageBrand USA is filming Roadfood™ - a culinary television series that highlights the best roadside dining attractions the United States has to offer.

The destination marketing organization is partnering with Fexy Media on Roadfood™ -  the authority on great meals along highways, in small towns and in city neighborhoods which is famed for celebrating regional and small-town eateries and sleeves-up food made by America’s culinary folk artists.

Roadfood™ will air on GoUSA TV later this year and is part of Brand USA’s larger culinary program. Crisscrossing the country, the featured destinations include the Florida Gulf Coast, Wisconsin, Ohio, Arizona, Colorado, and New England.

Hear the Music

Zoom Hear the Music ImageBrand USA is in production on another round of “Hear the Music” vignettes for the VisitTheUSA.com music hub and GoUSA TV.

The vignettes support the music and culture theme of America’s Musical Journey. The first “Hear the Music” series featured music videos, all set to the iconic song, “Do You Wanna Dance.”

This fall, Brand USA is hitting the road to film 10 more music videos. Brand USA will use two songs, “Boogie Shoes” and “What I Like About You” and have artists in different cities perform them in their own musical style. The music videos, along with artist interviews and photos, will appear on VisitTheUSA.com/music with traffic driving to the site.  They also will be included in a series titled, “American Sound,” on the GoUSA TV channel.
